Shakib Al Hasan has been added in the squad for the 9th edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Shakib Al Hasan will play for Jamaica Tallawahs in CPL 2021. The CPL authorities have confirmed on Twitter that they have got Shakib’s team. Shakib played for the same team in the CPL four seasons ago.
The 9th edition of CPL will start on August 26 this year. Six teams will play in this franchise league in the Caribbean Island. All matches of this year’s event will be held in St. Kitts and Nevis. The CPL authorities have decided to hold the league at one venue due to the coronavirus problem.
Apart from Shakib, no other Bangladeshi cricketer is playing in the CPL 2021. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. Today the CPL authorities will announce the final squad of all the participating teams.
