Shakib, Litton spend time at nets after Zimbabwe loss

After Bangladesh’s disappointing loss in the fifth and final Twenty20International (T20I) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, all eyes turned to Shakib Al Hasan, who was spotted batting alongside the thrower and Bangladesh National Team Batting Coach David Hemp at the center wicket nets soon after the presentation ceremony.
His recent batting performances had been under scrutiny, particularly since his return to the T20I side after a hiatus of ten months.
Although he managed to contribute with the ball in both matches, scoring just one run in the previous game and 21 off 17 deliveries in today’s match against Zimbabwe, Shakib’s form with the bat remained a cause for concern.
Despite the disappointment of the loss, Shakib’s commitment to improvement was evident as he took a brief break before returning for a second batting session, demonstrating his dedication to fine-tuning his skills ahead of the upcoming World Cup.
