After undergoing surgery in London, he is now undergoing chemotherapy.

Apart from this, actress Apu Biswas recently went to an event and asked everyone to pray for Ilias Kanchan.
Shakib Khan yesterday prayed for the recovery of Ilias Kanchan on his Facebook page, writing, “Ilias Kanchan, our beloved and respected elder brother, whose life is a symbol of a movement, a journey of light.
On the silver screen, he is the hero of everyone’s love, in real life, a soldier of humanity. Kanchan Bhai is undergoing treatment in faraway London today.
The prayers of millions of people in the country are with him. May he return as an energetic, smiling, and inspiring person as before.

Apu Biswas recently asked the countrymen for prayers for Ilias Kanchan at an event.
At that event, she said, “Our film superstar Ilias Kanchan Bhai is seriously ill.
I ask the Bengali-speaking people to pray for him. May he recover quickly and return to us.”
Ilias Kanchan had been suffering from various physical complications since the beginning of this year. When his condition deteriorated, his family members took him to the doctor.
After various tests, it was found that Kanchan had a tumour in his head. Ilias Kanchan went to London on April 26 for advanced treatment. He is undergoing treatment there.
