Dhallywood’s renowned actor Ilias Kanchan is currently undergoing treatment in London for a serious brain tumor. As soon as the news of his illness became public, a shadow
of anxiety and sadness fell across the film industry and the country.
Popular film actress Shabnur has given an emotional message on social media, wishing her beloved actor a speedy recovery.
Shabnur expressed her deep sorrow in a post paying tribute to the veteran actor. She wrote, “Senior actor, respected brother Ilias Kanchan Bhai has been undergoing treatment in London for a few days due to a serious brain tumor. My heart is very heavy to hear the news of the illness of this man who was dedicated to humanity.”
The National Film Award-winning actress also highlighted Ilias Kanchan’s public welfare work outside of films. Shabnur further wrote, “Along with films, he is involved in social and political activities. In particular, he has been carrying out the social movement ‘We want safe roads’ for a long time.’”
Shabnur expressed her strong belief in wishing the ailing actor well.
She said, “I wish a speedy recovery to this talented actor, who received a lifetime achievement award at the National Film Awards. With all of our prayers and love, he will get through this difficult time and come back, InshaAllah.”
