Shabnur, who is currently living permanently in Australia, she was involved in the accident on Saturday morning while returning from a relative’s house in Lacombe while taking her son to the field.
It is learned that Shabnur accidentally fell off the sidewalk and sprained her leg. This also caused the skin on her knee to peel off.
While talking in this regard, Shabnur told this correspondent over mobile phone, “The pain has made me wiser. I will never look at my mobile phone while walking or running again. Not even while driving.”
She also said, “I didn’t even have the strength to stand up. That’s when I realised how something terrible could happen from a little carelessness.”
Shabnur’s doctor said the tissue in her leg was damaged, forcing her to have a plaster on her leg. Now she is going through the ‘experience’ of using crutches to support her legs and taking painkillers.
Lastly, Shabnur warned everyone and said, “If I were talking on the phone while driving, and something like this happened, not only my life but someone else’s life could be at risk. My injury is a warning – I hope no one takes it lightly.”
