Shabbir Ahmed has joined ONE Bank PLC as its Additional Managing Director.
Prior, he was the Deputy Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, said a press release. Mr Shabbir began his banking career as a Probationary Officer at IFIC Bank in the year 1989.
He served in various responsible positions at BASIC Bank, Dutch-Bangla Bank, American Express Bank, National Housing Finance & Investment Ltd and The City Bank. Earlier, he served ONE Bank as Additional Deputy Managing Director and Head of Corporate Asset Marketing (North).
