Five thousand 220 farmers of Raozan upazila have been provided with the high breed seeds of Boro paddy and fertilisers free of cost yesterday morning of the Upazila premises. Member Parliament of Raozan, A B M Fazle Karim Chowdhury distributed the agri-materials to farmers as the chief guest.
Following the cooperation of the Upazila administration and Agriculture Extension Department, these agri-materials were distributed in free of cost to the farmers of remote areas. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Abdus Samad Sikder presided over the distribution ceremony. Upazila Chairman AKM Ehsanul Haider Chowdhury Babul and Raozan Poura Mayor Zamiruddin Parvez were also present as special guests on the occasion.
