Ensuring security in industries and bank loans with easy conditions and necessary intensives could boost the economy in post autocrat regime in Bangladesh, said, M. Mamunur Rashid, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Artisan Ceramics Limited.
M. Mamunur Rashid is a charismatic corporate leader in ceramic industries sector of Bangladesh. He has achieved goodwill as the meritorious, dynamic, handsome and a humble personality in the huge potential sector.
M. Mamunur Rashid talked with The New Nation over the issues regarding problems and potentials of Ceramic Industries in the country.
The CEO said after fall of the dictator Hasina regime, chaotic situation harmed several industrial areas.
He expressed hope that Professor Dr. Yunus led interim government might restore adequate security in all industrial areas in the country.
The business icon suggested loans in easy and soft conditions and proper intensives will gear up the industries and eventually boost the national economy within short time.
The CEO said ceramic industries of Bangladesh already attained its goodwill as it is producing and exporting standard quality tableware across the world.
He said that the market of the tableware sector especially the ceramics industries are being expand across the globe day by day.
There is a wide range scope of earning billions of US dollars through exporting ceramics tableware.
There is potentials of dominating foreign tableware markets through innovative designs.
“There are widespread opportunities of dominating the world’s tableware markets with innovative designed,” the CEO said.
“In these visions, the mission of the Artisan Ceramics’s is to bring exceptional and artistic designed tableware to provide our clients in different countries as their desired ones.”
“We are promised to provide all new and latest designed ceramic products to our customers,” M Mamunur Rashid said while talking with the National Times.
“At first, the Artisan Ceramics Limited has assured its buyers, especially the foreign customers that our company has formulated and managed to fit all compliances in our factory,” the CEO said.
The ceramic products are getting produced in a safe environment. The company is ensuring safety environment of work in its every stage.
The former name of the Artisan Ceramics Limited was James Finley UK’s Tea and Land company (Bangladesh Ltd). It is now working as an associate company of Bharara (Sylhet) tea company Ltd.
The Artisan Ceramics Ltd established at 2005 and since then it was on operation producing standard class products with high quality porcelains.
Remembering the starting of the company, Mamunur Rashid said that the ceramic plants of his company has been established within nine months only which was a record low time. Besides, it has started productions within six months after establishing the plant with high quality tableware and achieved popularity among the customers shortly after arriving in markets.
Producing items as per the choices of the customers is the lone target of the managing authority of the company. The designers of the Artisan Ceramics are working to produce items as per the demands and trends of the world market with reasonable lower prices. M. Mamunur Rashid said that the Artisan Ceramics have outlined the importance to maintain the healthier and hygienic working environment seriously.
It also give attentions to bring varieties in the tableware, with maintaining standard and quality in every stages of the production.
It also highlighted of keeping social responsibilities upholding.
As a result, Mamunur Rashid said, their products get huge attentions and affections among the customers across the globe.
“Artisan Ceramics tableware are now increased beauty of the Britain’s monarch’s palace as its daily usable wares. It is a matter of dignity for Bangladesh,” said Mamunur Rashid.
Mamunur Rashid said that Artisan Ceramics is exporting tableware in the USA, UK, Italy, France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Cyprus, Greece, Netherlands, Brazil, Chili, Argentina, Mexico, Malaysia, Australia, India and several other countries regularly as per huge demands of Artisan’s products have been created there.
Besides, there are enormous demands of its products in the domestic market also.
About 150 registered dealers are working to sale and marketing Artisans items recurrently.
The supplying of the products to the retail level is continuing.
The CEO said that there are numbers of five star, four and three star hotels are on operations as the tourism and hospitality sector are also booming in the country.
In this, there are huge demands of tableware also created.
The Artisan Ceramics has dominated a good portion of the demand, he added.
Mamunur Rashid said that Artisan is growing its business first under the charismatic leadership of it’s Chairman Nader Khan and Managing Director A.Q.I. Chowdhury Obiy.
He said there are about one thousand employees are working in Artisan Ceramics.
