A three-day science fair has begun at Milestone College (MC) to enhance students’ skills in science and technology education.
The fair for young scientists is organised by Milestone College Science Club. The overall supervision of the fair is under the supervision of the club’s moderator, vice-principal Mizanur Rahman Khan, says a MC press release.
The colorful science fair was inaugurated by the Milestone college principal Mohammad Ziaul Alam on Tuesday.
Milestone College Vice-Principal Professor Zahirul Huq and Vice-Principal (Administration) Md. Masud Alam were present as special guests at the inaugural ceremony.
1500 students of classes IX, XI and XII participated in this fair to create a scientific attitude among the students and more than a hundred projects were displayed.
The fair is being held at the Kamaluddin Seminar Hall of the permanent campus of Milestone College located in Diabari, Uttara. It is expected that 20,000 people will visit the fascinating science fair.
