Science Fair at DIS campus

Daffodil International School (DIS) has organised its Annual Science Fair 2014 on Saturday at the school campus. Students from Play Group to Grade – 8 took part in the fair.
The students put their investigation in a wide variety of exciting experiments. Every class was set a specific challenge related to the topic.
Thirty-six projects were exhibited out of which LED matrix, hazard of formalin, Periscope, image in box, Solar Energy, Absorption, Wind Mill, Traffic rules, collection of different leaves, flower petals & seeds, Water Pollution, Volcanic eruption, Environmental Pollution, Water Cycle, blood circulatory system, periscope, water rising up, can crusher, make parachute, fish in a bowl, creating rainbow, keeping yourself clean, create a magnifying glass, types of Animals according to their habitat, variety uses of unused things by recycling, Green City, global warming, eclipse of the sun and moon related with ecology and environment, science and technology, geophysics and astrophysics were very much appreciated by all.
Md. Nuruzzaman, Executive Director of Daffodil Education Network (DEN), Zamshedur Rahman, Principal, Daffodil International College, Monir Hossain, Company Secretary, Daffodil Computers Ltd. Along with Shahana Khan, Principal, DIS visited the Fair as Judges and expressed their deep satisfaction on the efforts of the young scientists. Among thirty-six projects, nine were judged first, second and third in three different groups. All participants were distributed certificates and prizes at the end of the program.
