‘Scholars must uphold state duties’
Chattogram Bureau :
Religious Adviser Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain said, scholars must come forward to fulfill the responsibilities of the state. Until scholars and ulamas are not involved in running the state, peace and happiness cannot come to the country.
He said these things in his speech as the chief guest on the closing day of the annual mahfil and dastarbandi conference of Al-Jamiyatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Muinul Islam Hathazari Madrasa in Chattogram on Friday afternoon.
The advisor said, scholars must be proactive to increase public involvement. Ulama-Mashaykhs must have a relationship with the people. They must be looked after and inquired about.
He requested the ulama to come forward to change the existing state structure. Highlighting the importance of self-purification, Dr. Khalid said, each of us has faults. We do not see our own faults, we look for the faults of others.
If I respect someone, I will also get respect from him. And if I insult someone, Allah will insult me. Dr. Khalid said, life is short. People do not live long. Time is running out. Power, money, wealth, nothing is permanent.
In this country, those who were once hanged on the orders of others are going to be hanged on the orders of others. For this reason, we must always remember Allah and cannot displease Him.
Highlighting the importance of the service of the Ustad, the advisor said, life is enlightened by the blessings of contact with the Ulama. Good character qualities can be acquired.
