Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation Asia and Oceania Private Limited has invited applications from the students of Dhaka University (DU) for its scholarships.
The organisation plans to grant scholarships to 10 regular students of the university, according to a press release issued on Tuesday. The scholarship is specifically open to regular students enrolled in the first year of the Undergraduate programme during the 2022-2023 academic session.
Applicants must have successfully passed the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination in 2022. A key academic requirement is that applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 4.80 in both the SSC and HSC examinations, excluding the fourth subject.
