Entertainment Desk :

Yesterday was Friday, September 19, was the birthday of late hero Salman Shah, the shining star of Dhaka cinemas in the 1990s. He was born in Sylhet on this day in 1971.

If he were alive, he would have been 54 years old on that day. But on September 6, 1996, at the age of just 25, his life suddenly went out.

Although the actor entered the industry for a short time, he became a style icon of the Bengali screen overnight.

His brilliance from that time has not faded even today; on the contrary, his popularity seems to be deepening with time.

Many believe that Salman Shah was able to spread so much light because he came for a short time.

That is why, almost three decades after his departure, he is still etched in the hearts of his fans.

Salman Shah was a unique hero for the youth of the nineties. Not only the audience, but also his fellow actors considered him an inspiration and role model.

His acting was nothing to be said separately, and his fashion and style impression was a few steps ahead.

Many consider Salman to be a time traveller in the entertainment world, as the style of dressing he pioneered three decades ago is clearly reflected in today’s heroes.

Yesterday, Salman Shah was being showered with birthday wishes and remembered with respect by his fans.

It is needless to say that this immortal hero of Bengali cinema has been gone for almost three decades, yet his absence still burns the hearts of his fans.
