One of the most popular pairs of Dhallywood was Salman Shah-Shabnur. They acted as a pair for the first time in the movie ‘Tumi Amar’ directed by Zahirul Haque. Then Salman Shah and Shabnur acted in 14 movies together. Rumour has it, they had a close relationship.
There was also rumour that there was a lot of turmoil in Salman-Samira’s family life due to Salman and Shabnur’s relationship.
However, Shabnur has repeatedly denied the issue of love.
Shabnur was really in love with Salman Shah?
There is still curiosity in the mind of the audience.
This time Salman Shah’s ex-wife Samira Khan said that Salman had a relationship with Shabnur.
On the occasion of Salman Shah’s birthday on September 19, Samira Khan, the late actor’s wife, spoke on a national television channel.
Samira Khan said about Salman-Shabnur’s relationship, “This matter cannot be said so easily. There is a big story behind it. If I start that story, it will take a long time to finish. But the simple question if someone wants to know ‘Was there any relationship between Salman Shah and Shabnur?’ Then I would say in one sentence that, ‘Yes, they had a relationship.’”
Samira also said that there was a problem with Salman regarding the relationship with Shabnur.
While talking in this regard, Samira said, “This has been our problem with weirdness. I went to my father’s house in anger. Salman explained a lot to me, also apologised to me. Later, he adapted me. After two months we returned to our house in Dhaka. Salman told me that he will not work with Shabnur in any other film after the completion of the contracts.”
On September 6, 1996, Salman Shah committed suicide at his own residence on Eskaton Road in the capital while his career was at its peak. Although his family has always said, Salman was killed systematically.
In the recent interview, Samira said that before this, Salman tried to commit suicide three times.
Regarding talking about the matter, Samira said, “Salman is mentally suicidal by nature. He tried suicide three times before. It will be known if you check the record of Metropolitan Hospital. Two times records are there. Another one is at another hospital. Three attempts before my marriage. I know of three incidents. Once he did after quarrelling with his mother. Another time he did it to convince me to marry him. Another time something happened to him, and he did it for that.”
