Chattogram Bureau :
The sale of vegetables, eggs and onion launched in the port city Chattogram through fair price module as initiated by the Agriculturle Marketing Directorate, Chattogram from Wednesday. Director General of Agri Marketing Directorate Masud Karim inaugurated the fair price sale.
At that time, Divisional Commissioner of Chattogsram Md. Tofail Islam and other senior officials were present. The sale proceed will continue in the city for next 15 days, sources said.
The price of these commodities on fair price fixed egg at Tk.130 per dozen, Potato per kg Tk.30, Papia Tk.20 per kg, Karala Tk.40 per kg and Onion Tk.70 per kg.
The people in general in the city expressed happy over the sale of these items on price fair and urged to continue the sale system for more period, eye witness’s sources said.
