After visiting the academy, he said that the government has the will to modernize the country’s marine academies and connect the students who pass out from these institutions to the global naval sector.
Adviser M Sakhawat Hossain said, ‘I am in two ministries. It cannot be called sea theft, it is Pacific Ocean theft.
The government that was in place for the last 15 years has corrupted the entire system. There is no department, no system that is not corrupt.
Textile and jute ministry has been almost finished, we are trying to fix them.
But it is not possible to fix it in 2 or 3 years. Not a single government jute mill is running, we are trying to run them on lease. It is not possible for the government to do business.
Sakhawat Hossain said, there are some projects in the Ministry of Navy, many people, even the officials do not know why this project has approved.
Regarding the situation in the mountains, the advisor said, “There was always a problem in the mountains. There are 13/14 communities apart from Bengali-non-Bengali, some are small, some are big.
In order to maintain harmony among them, those who are non-Paharis must understand the sorrows and pains of the Paharis.
Locally this camaraderie should be increased. Care should be taken that no one can add fuel. Better to stop the bleeding. If we don’t maintain harmony, everyone’s loss.
The advisor also called all parties to come forward to maintain peace in the hill areas. No one can live in peace if the hills are restless.
