Entertainment Report :
A colourful programme
was organised on the 26th anniversary of the Hill Peace Accord Day at the King’s Ground in Bandarban. ‘Serakontho Power Voice 2012’ famed artiste Sajal, 2017’s popular artiste Moumita Barua, and Mak Apal impressed the audience by singing songs in this event.
In the event, Sajal impressed the audience by singing songs of James because the audience prefers to listen to James’s songs in his voice.
On the other hand, Moumita Barua is originally a Chattogram girl. So, Moumita tried to sing the regional language songs of Chattogram in the event.
On the other hand, Apal has sung Ayub Bachchu’s songs most of the time.
Regarding performing the event, Moumita Barua told this correspondent, “Now stage shows are being canceled one after another in different parts of the country including Dhaka. Despite all the hype surrounding the elections, the shows are actually getting canceled due to strikes and blockades. For those of us who look forward to the stage show season, the cancellation of these shows is very difficult. Many times the pain comes to tears. However, it’s really nice to have the event on the 26th anniversary of the Hill Peace Accord Day. I tried to sing the songs properly.”
Singer Mak Apal said, “This concert was the best open air concert in my life. We were inspired greatly by the frenzy we have seen in the audience as each of the songs we have performed sing. It seemed like we went to a show outside the country. There is no pushing with anyone. Everyone was enjoying the music. In one word, all three of us are filled with love.”
