Safa Kabir has been acting on the small screen for more than a decade. In recent times, she has focused on breaking herself and presenting herself in different roles.
This time Safa Kabir is coming to scare everyone as a ghost. She will be seen in the role of a ghost in Sikder Diamond’s drama titled ‘Protiddhoni’.
The actress doesn’t want to tell the story of the drama before its release.
However, she said that she had done a good job.
While talking in this regard, Safa Kabir told this correspondent, “I think, these days I rarely get such a character, which excites me or the story that makes me feel new. After reading the script of this drama, I was working on a kind of excitement about the work. I haven’t done much horror work in my career. Many years ago, I did one of Vicky Zahed’s work. It’s not quite horror either. So from the beginning I had a special interest in the drama ‘Protiddhoni’. Story, location, camera work – all in all were in a great job because I want to know the audience’s response to this drama.”
Although excited about the horror work, Safa was afraid during the shooting. Regarding talking about the shooting experiences, actress Safa Kabir told this correspondent, “I was excited to do horror; I was also afraid. I’m already a bit timid. There was shooting in an old house. During the shooting at night, the surroundings were deserted. No houses around, acting in a horror story, meanwhile I’m playing a ghost. All in all, it was scary, but the team was full of energy. Everyone is so co-operative, works so beautifully, I think, every frame of the drama will entertain the audience.”
Director Sikder Diamond said, “‘Protiddhoni’ is not quite a horror drama; it’s a suspense thriller story based drama. But there is a link of horror with it. It can be seen that after many days a writer came to the country. He went to the village house to write the story. All supernatural events happen with him there. Then the author started to unravel the mystery.”
Sudeep Kumar Deep, Ashok Bepari, Sadia Tazin and others also acted in the drama, which story and screenplay were written by Kishore Kumar Das.
The drama will be released on the platform, Bongo on January 11.
