SafaKabir has acted in a drama based on the life of a man named ‘Paglu’, who wants to stay young at heart regardless of his age. She is paired opposite MosharrafKarim in the drama.
The drama is directed by Salman Rahman Khan and scripted by Sezan Noor. It also features performances by Mili Bashar, JavedGazi, and others.
According to the director, the story revolves around a man named Paglu, who is older but prefers to think of himself as young. He goes to various lengths to hide his age, befriends younger people, and ends up doing all sorts of antics.
One day, while being chased by a group of people, Paglu meets Maya, a school teacher from a nearby village. He is instantly smitten and proposes marriage to her. However, Maya’s family rejects the proposal as Paglu is unemployed. To win her over, Paglu tries to bring changes to his life. The story unfolds from there, blending humour with social themes.
SafaKabir plays the role of Maya, while MosharrafKarim plays the character of Paglu. Speaking about the drama, SafaKabir said, ‘The story is wonderful. Although it’s in a comedic tone, it carries a social message. I’ve worked with MosharrafBhai many times before. I hope the audience will enjoy our chemistry in this drama as well.’
