Tendulkar presented Messi with a special 2011 ODI World Cup (WC) jersey, commemorating India’s historic triumph, while Messi returned the gesture with a unique World Cup ball.
Messi was greeted with thunderous applause by fans upon his arrival, with spectators cheering as he waved to the crowd. A special performance was held in his honor, celebrating the presence of the football superstar in the city.
Joining Messi on the field were Indian football captain Sunil Chhetri and several Bollywood stars, who participated in a friendly football match, adding to the excitement of the occasion.
