Music: Sabina, Mousumi Bhowmik to share stage in London

Noted singer Sabina Yasmin went to the UK to sing at a special concert of the Bengali Book Fair organised in London. West Bengal’s popular singer Mousumi Bhowmik will also sing on the same stage along with Sabina Yasmin at the event organised on October 19.

The London Bangla Book Fair and Cultural Festival will be held at the Mayfair venue in Romford, East London on Sunday, October 19. The event is being organised by Udichi UK branch with the support of several local cultural organisations.

This year, the 16th edition of the event will be held. Along with the day-long book fair, cultural events will be held in two parts. The first part will run from 12 noon to 5:30pm local time. There will be poetry readings, recitations by children and teenagers, and various other activities. The second part will have a special musical concert from 6:30pm to 10pm.
