Runa Laila will be busy after coming back

Runa Laila, the famous musician and also composer of the subcontinent, went to London at the end of last January. There she went to spend time with her daughter Tani Laila. Runa Laila said she is having a good time with her daughter, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. But in the meantime, Kumar Biswajit’s only son Nibir Kumar has
suffered a lot due to the road accident. She regularly prayed for Nibir Kumar’s health as he may recover quickly.
Meanwhile, before going to London, Runa told a press conference that she will work as the chief judge of the ‘Serakontho Contest 2023,’ which started again on Channel i after 2017.
Runa Laila will return home in the third week of March. And on returning home she will resume the accumulated works. Although fasting will start soon after returning home, but even then there are meetings about some work, there are also plans.
Runa Laila informed that she will sing song in Coke Studio’s second season. But she is not saying that the audience will hear the song.
Runa Laila told this correspondent, “I have been in London for quite some time with my daughter because I have a wonderful time with my daughter. Therefore, I actually like it here because I spend a lot of time with my grandchildren. All in all, it seems that this period of life has become much more enjoyable for me. There is a rush to return to the country again, because the work of the chief judge of ‘Serakontho 2023’ is going to start soon. Besides, I want to do something new. Those matters are being discussed now. All in all, I will spend some busy times after returning. But Alhamdulillah, even at this time, Allah has kept me healthy, well, and thank him. Still being able to work, sing and sing – that’s great.”
Runa Laila’s latest released song is the patriotic song titled ‘Jodi Proshno Koro.’ Late Gazi Mazharul Anwar wrote lyrics of the song. Shafiq Tuhin composed its tune and Foad Nasser Babu has arranged music of the song.
Meanwhile, Runa Laila is regularly composing songs. She has already composed some more songs.
However, she did not give any details about these songs for now. She will let know when the time is right, according to legendary singer Runa Laila.
