The seventh season of the music reality show, ‘Shera Kontho’ has already started. Runa Laila, the famoussinger of the subcontinent,will be seen as a special judge on ‘Shera Kontho’ onChannel i from tonight.
Runa Laila will be welcomed in the result round of tonight’s ‘Super Round’, said Project and Programme Head of Shera Kontho, Ijaz Khan Swapan, by whose hands Shera Kontho has spread all over the country and by whose hands the seeds of dreams have been sown among artists of this generation around ‘Shera Kontho’.
Tonight at 7:50pm, the result of ‘Super Round’ will be announced along with the promotion of Runa Laila’s welcoming episode.
Two episodes aired tonight and tomorrow.Regarding welcoming Runa Laila as the special judge of Sera Kontho, Ijaz Khan Swapan told this correspondent, “Runa Laila are the pride of our country.
She is a famous musician of the subcontinent. A Runa Laila around the world. So, we wanted to show the presence of ‘Shera Kontho’ as a special judge.
That’s why tonight’s episode is a little more special. Kudos to Runa Laila Apa for giving us the time to bring new artistes to the music arena with proper judgment.
Hopefully we will get some artistes of 2023 and after 2017’s ‘Shera Kontho.”After 13 long years, Runa Laila is working as a judge in Shera Kontho.
While talking in this regard, the legendary singer told this correspondent, “It feels great to be associated with Channel i, Shera Kontho after many years.
Thanks to Faridur Reza Sagar and Ijaz Khan Swapan. I have only one word for those who are participating in this competition, they should always practice music.
If you want to be an artiste, if you can’t come to the top of the competition or any position, don’t get upset and keep practicing regularly.
Then one day the dream will come true because music is a subject which is not possible to become a good musician without regular practice. Before that I was a judge.
Those of that time are doing well now. Some are tuning in again. I also say to them, keep the practice regularly. Only then will you be able to prove yourself that you are truly a good artiste.”
It is noted that there are two more judges in the seventh season of ‘Shera Kontho’.
They are Rezwana Chowdhury Bannya and Samina Chowdhury. Shanta Jahan is presenting the programme. The journey of Shera Kontho 2023 started in November last year.
