This time, actress Runa Khan is appearing on Eid on OTT platform with three different contents.
Two series and a movie starring Runa Khan are being released on two different OTT platforms.
The series ‘Bohemian Ghora’ will be shown on Hoi Choi, while the series ‘Paap Kahini’ and the movie ‘Leelamonthon’ will be released on i-Screen.
The web series ‘Bohemian Ghora’ is based on the story of a truck driver named Abbas. Abbas has married seven times in seven districts. He skillfully managed his seven families, keeping his seven wives hidden from each other.
After marrying number 8, chaos began to break out in his life.
Runa Khan plays the role of Ambia in this series.
She is sixth wife of Abbas. Ambia is very confident and hot-tempered. She runs a restaurant that her father provides. Her other ambition is to become a ward commissioner and campaign around the city in Abbas’s truck.
Runa Khan has recently caught the attention after the trailer of the series was released. Mosharraf Karim plays the role of Abbas.
Directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, the series also stars Tanzika Amin, Mousumi Hamid, Sadia Ayman, Robena Reza Jui, Farhana Hamid, and others.
The series ‘Bohemian Ghora’ will be released on Hoi Choi on June 5.
Regarding talking about acting in this series, Runa Khan told this correspondent, “The story, production, and actors — all did a great job. I received a lot of praise after the trailer was released. I hope everyone likes the entire series.”
Meanwhile, Runa Khan played the role of a sex worker in Toufiq Elahi’s movie ‘Neelpadma’. She went to the brothel of Daulatdia for the first time to act. The shooting took place there.
Runa’s character’s name in the movie is ‘Neela’ or ‘Neelpadma’. She was born and raised in a brothel. Rashed Mamun Apu, A K Azad Setu, Shahed Ali and others also acted in this movie.
The film ‘Neelpadma’, which was screened at the International Film Festival held in January this year, can now be watched at home.
The movie will be released on i-Screen on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
Regarding talking about the film, Runa Khan said, “Through Neela, the director wanted to show the life struggles of sex workers, their meaning is social status, how they view society, how society views them, etc. Thanks to this work, I went to the brothel in Daulatdia for the first time in my life. The movie was shot there.”
Meanwhile, Runa Khan’s web series ‘Paap Kahini’ will be shown during the Eid festival on the same platform. The three-part series is directed by actor and presenter Shahriar Nazim Joy.
This web series is about the love, trust and revenge of a husband and wife. Runa Khan’s character’s name is Rupa. Joy plays the role of her husband Mofiz.
Runa Khan will be seen in two different looks in this series.
It begins with the story of Rupa, a village housewife, who, through the course of the story, becomes a modern city woman.
It also features Mousumi Mou, Tangia Zaman Methila, and others.
