The first few lines of the poem ‘Aat Bochhor Ager Ekdin’ by Jibanananda Das are: ‘Shona gelo lashkata ghore, Niye gechhe tare; Kal raate Falguner raater andhareo, Jokhon giyechhe dube ponchomir chand, Moribar holo tar sadh”.
On the basis of this poem, talented director Masud Pathik started the production of the movie titled ‘Bok’.Director Masud Pathik wrote the story, dialogues and screenplay of the movie ‘Bok’ based on Jibanananda Das’s poem.
A central character to the story in the movie is Sobita.
