Actress Runa Khan has captured the attention of the audience by playing various roles on the small and big screens. This time, she is coming to play the role of a movie heroine for the first time.
‘Chlichchitra: The Cinema’ is going to be made under the direction of Ali Zulfikar Zahedi, where the actress will be playing the central role of the movie.
The director said that Runa Khan has already been signed for the role. The selection of the remaining artists is also almost complete.
The plan is to start shooting by the end of the year, and all preparations will be completed before then.
In this context, Runa Khan said, “Talks started with me about this film last winter. After listening to the story, I liked it. Later, if I like the script and character, we will sign a contract.
Here, I will play the role of a film actress. I love working in different roles, especially those that have a touch of reality. This character is just like that.”
She had experience playing the role of a Jatrapala actress in a tele-fiction directed by Noman Robin in 2007. However, this is the first time Runa Khan will be seen playing the role of a heroine on the big screen.
In this regard, she said, “I have never worked in the role of a heroine before. About 17 to 18 years ago, I was a journey actress in a tele-fiction.
This time, the audience will see me in the role of a movie heroine. I’m very excited about the work. I will try my best to portray the character properly. I’m successful if the audience likes it.”
Runa Khan further added, “All of us who are involved in acting see them on screen. But many forget that we have a different life outside the screen.
We also have real stories of happiness, sadness, laughter, and tears. ‘Chilachitra: The Cinema’ is basically being made based on the story of one such heroine.”
