Popular presenter and dancer of this generation, Ruhani Salsabil Labonno made her first appearance in a stage show in Saudi Arabia last year.
Her presentation experience there last year was great. But this time her experience was even better. Ruhani Labonno has hosted eight shows for eight consecutive eight days in Khobar and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
She presented eight shows in Khobar from April 30 to May 3 and in Jeddah from May 7 to 10. This is the first time Labonno has presented outside the country for eight consecutive days.
Labonno is very proud of this because she got Nagar Baul James, singers Kona, Imran Mahmudul, Mila, Porshi and many others as musicians in eight consecutive shows this year. The artistes were also very proud to have Labonno among them.
While sharing her feelings in this regard, Ruhani Labonno told this correspondent, “This year’s Saudi Arabia’s shows are one of the best shows of my life because I hosted the shows for eight consecutive days.
The ‘Passport to the World’ event, hosted by expatriate Bangladeshis, will remain a memorable event in my life. I had a great time with everyone at the shows.
The passion, the love, ambition I saw among the Bangladeshi brothers and sisters living abroad while the country’s artistes performed their music – it impressed me greatly. I also tried to connect with them through presentations. I was impressed by their loves for me.
Thanks to the organisers for giving me and us such an honour. I give also thanks to James Bhai, Kona Apu, Mila, Imran, Porshi and others who participated in the show for eight consecutive days. To be honest, expatriate Bangladeshi brothers and sisters work very hard for their families.
They want their families to be well off in the country.” Meanwhile, Labonno regularly hosts various shows on SA TV, RTV and BTV. She will also host two different shows in Dhaka this month.
Meanwhile, she is also very good at dancing. A few years ago, she also acted in a serial titled ‘Smritir Alpona Anki’ directed by Murad Parvez
that aired on ATN Bangla.
Shirsho is the only child of Labonno. He has learned to talk now. So, Labonno usually goes home immediately after the show ends and tries to keep up with the conversation with her son, Shirsho.
