Daughter Marzia Bushra Rodela became model of her mother Nazmun Munira Nancy’s song.
Rodela herself also practices music, as well as dance training. She has interests in acting and modeling too. From that interest Rodela became a model for the first time, and that was in the song of mother Nancy.
Rodela will be seen in the video of Nancy’s song titled ‘Tomar e Achhi’ directed by Ibrahim Mahadi.
Nancy said that the music video was planned by Rodela and Ibrahim Mahadi.
The video was made on their initiative.
Regarding talking about the matter, Nancy told this correspondent, “After making the song, everyone felt that it would be nice to have a video. Although I don’t believe in making music hits with videos. Making a good quality video with star artistes is also quite expensive. In such a situation, my Ammajan (Rodela) and Mahadi took the initiative to make a video of the song. They told me the plan. I like the video it made. A sparkling video is coming. As new two people trying to make a good video from their place. I sometimes watch the video alone. My daughter on the screen of the song of my voice – that’s a great feeling. It can’t be implied.”
Hridoy Khan composed, mixed and mastered the song written by Gunjon Rahman. The song will be released from Nancy’s YouTube channel this month.
After a long time, Nancy said about her YouTube channel again, “I’m not wealthy enough to spend the money it takes to make a song. We who are only musicians have a minus point. Lyrics, melodies, music arrangements and mastering – all the arrangements are now done by ourselves. At the end of the day, the cost figure becomes a little big. Besides, I had to go through bad times. As much as I could sing in the formal work, I breathed my last. Now I have become regular at work again. So, I thought, let’s invest for myself and make some songs.”
The song titled ‘Rajkumar’ in Rodela’s voice was released last December.
Her singing has been praised after the release.
On Facebook live, Nancy sang the song ‘Rajkumar’ which was originally sung by Rodela. Recently, Nancy got emotional when she was asked to sing the song ‘Rajkumar’ in a show.
While sharing her feelings in this regard, Nancy told this correspondent, “On February 1, there was a school’s annual banquet. There I was singing. Sometimes there were letters requesting different songs. A note was written, song ‘Rajkumar’ wants to hear. Tears came to the eyes after the note. Then I sang four lines of the song. I usually have no one with me on these occasions. I will try to keep it in the future, at least to capture these special moments on camera.”
Many say that Rodela’s singing style is very much like her mother. The matter did not escape Nancy’s attention. But as a mother, Nancy’s want, like no one else, should become Rodela like herself.
While talking in this regard, Nancy said, “Rodela is my child, so it comes down to genetics. But I want him to grow up with his personality. We are two generations of people. Her song test and my song test are different. The music style of the two is different. In childhood, parents put a lot of pressure without realising it. As my mother wanted, their children will grow up to be Sabina Yasmin, Runa Laila. No one is the same. What happens is the copy. It is true that Rodela is easily recognised for her mother, but her pressure is higher than 10 other children. Being Nancy’s daughter flattens her but more.
