February 21 is the International Mother Language Day. On this day, a special musical programme titled ‘Bhashar Gaan’ to air on Bangladesh Television (BTV).
This programme will be aired after English News at 10:00pm on February 21. Rizia Parveen and Dithi Anwar sang in this programme.
In the programme, Rizia Parveen has sung the song ‘Aamar Ekush Surjo Jhora Din’. The song is written by Khoshnur Alamgir, and tune and music were composed by Mohammad Ishaq.
Dithi’s song titled ‘Bornomala Aamar Bornomala’ is written by Munshi Odud and music is composed by Mohammad Ishaq.
The programme was scripted and researched by Pial Hasan. Pial Hasan himself also sang a song in the programme.
Rizia Parveen is very excited to perform music in this programme produced by BTV.
While sharing her feelings in this regard, she said, “After a long time, I sang a song on BTV in one of the programmes, that too an original song.
The more interesting thing is that after a long time I sang a song written by respected Khoshnur Apa.
I like the lyrics very much. Ishaq Bhai also composed the tune beautifully. I loved the sincerity of BTV’s originality. As if everyone is working with new enthusiasm. Hope everyone likes the song.”
On the other hand, singer Dithi Anwar talking about her rendered song ‘Bornomala Aamar Bornomala’ in the programme by this way, “The programme ‘Bhashar Gaan’ is an exception, there is no presenter. Before performing the artiste’s song, the songwriter will say something about the song.
I like the lyrics and melody of my song very much. I hope the audience will like the song.”
Meanwhile, Dithi said that she is busy throughout this month.
She will perform language oriented songs and her father late Gazi Mazharul Anwar’s songs in the language based month’s special live show on My TV on February 20.
On February 21, at 10:30pm on Global TV, Dithi will sing in a programme to be organised to tribute to her father, accompanied by Polash and Emon Saha.
Meanwhile, Dithi Anwar and Momin Biswas will sing on Channel i in the morning on her father’s birthday on February 22.
