Rizia Parveen is a popular face in the music scene of this country. Many movie songs and modern songs have become popular in her voice.
Popular songs from the movies ‘Tumi Aamar Chand Ami Chander e Alo’, ‘Akashete Lokkho Tara Chand Kintu Ektare’, ‘Sobar Jibone Prem Ashe Taito Sobai Bhalobashe’, ‘Premer Namey Mitthye Bolona’, ‘Hero I Love You’, and many more have gained popularity in her voice.
Many songs were released on Rizia’s label in collaboration with musician Polash. At one time, Indian Bengali songs were popularised by the voices of Rizia Parveen and Polash. Rizia and Polash’s most popular duet album is ‘Sabaito Sukhi Hote Chai’. Last August 20 was Rizia Parveen’s birthday.
Meanwhile, another popular artiste in the music scene of this country is Anupama Mukti. She is best known for singing the song ‘Tumi Sutoy Bedechho Shaplar Phul’ in the movie ‘Hajar Bochhor Dhore’.
She also performed songs from the golden days of Bangladesh and India, which were well received by the audience. Now she is busy with regular stage shows.
Meanwhile, Dithi Anwar is currently in the United States. Before leaving, she participated in several BTV’s programmes.
