Paro FC beat Royal Thimpu College by two goals to one in the their match of the Bhutan Women’s Football League at Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan on Wednesday.

After a goalless draw in the first half, a Bhutanese local booter put Paro FC ahead.
Sabina Khatun of Royal Thimpu College equalised the margin after scoring a goal.

Ritu Porna Chakma of Paro FC broke the dead-lock after scoring a goal just at the dying moment.
Ritu Porana Chakma’s contribution for the victory of Paro FC made Ritu Porna Chakma as the Player of the Match and she received award.

Earlier, Paro FC defeated Transport United by three goals to one in their another match of the Bhutan Women’s Football League at the previous venue.

Ritu Porna Chakma scored two goals for Paro FC in that match. Ritu Porna Chakma was adjudged the Player of the Match and got award.

After the yesterday’s match, highly delighted Ritu Porna Chakma said, ” Today’s match was a tough task for us. I feel very good as I contribute for my team to win the match and also emerged the Player of the Match. I became Player of the Match here for the second time.”

A total of seven Bangladeshi footballers are playing for Paro FC and Royal Thimpu College in the Bhutan Women’s Football League. Sanjida Akhter was not present in yesterday’s match as she is participating in a coaching course in Dhaka.

Maria Manda and Shmsunnahar are playing for Royal Thimpu College. Sabina Khatun, Monika Chakma, Ritu Porna Chakma and Sumaiya are playing for Paro FC.

Paro FC are now in a better position in the points table of Bhutan Women’s Football League. They won two important matches. Ritu Porna Chakma played the key role for the victories of Paro FC.
