Resounding win for Legends of Rupganj

Legends of Rupganj posted a resounding 10-wicket victory over Gazi Group Cricketers in their first match of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) Cricket at the BKSP Ground-3 in Savar on Tuesday.

Chasing Gazi Group’s fragile total of 93 off 38.5 overs, Legends of Rupganj sailed home in just 13.5 overs making 97 for the loss of none.

Openers Saif Hassan and Tanzid Hasan of Legends of Rupganj powered their team to anchor the victory target scoring 97 runs in the unbroken opening stand.

Tanzid Hasan remained unbeaten with 65 runs. His 46-ball innings was belted with 10 fours and two sixes.

Saif Hassan remained unbeaten with 27 runs. His 38-ball knock was laced with five fours.
Earlier, Abdul Gaffar, Tofael Ahmed and Wasi Siddique were the three batters of Gazi Group Cricketers who could reach the double digit figures scoring 26, 24 and 18 runs respectively.
Shoriful Islam captured four wickets in the space of 14 runs, while Tanvir Islam grabbed three wickets at the cost of 23 runs.

Saif Hassan and Tanzim Hasan took one wicket apiece.
