Religious Affairs Adviser becomes nostalgic during New Nation visit

Dr AFM Khalid Hossain, the Religious Affairs Adviser, made a paid a courtesy visit to The New Nation office on Wednesday, aiming to strengthen his relationship with the journalist community.

The visit brought back fond memories for Dr Hossain, who once served as the Chattogram University Correspondent for The New Nation while pursuing a degree in Islamic History and Culture during the 1980s.

In conversation with New Nation Editor Md Mokarram Hossain and the editorial team, Dr Khalid Hossain shared stories from his days as a correspondent.

He expressed deep gratitude for the platform that provided him the opportunity to write on a wide range of topics across various fields, which he described as pivotal in shaping his journey as a writer.

His visit highlighted the importance of collaboration between the interim government and media professionals. Dr Hossain took the opportunity to thank The New Nation for its significant role in upholding the rights of the people and contributing to the country’s political discourse.

The New Nation office warmly welcomed the adviser and expressed their appreciation for his visit, underscoring the strong ties between the newspaper and its former correspondent.
