The OTT journey of the films released during the last Eid-ul-Azha began with Esha Murder. After its release on Binge on July 31, Tandav and Utsab followed on Chorki and Hoichoi on August 7. Now, another Eid-ul-Azha film, Insaaf, is coming to the OTT platform.
On September 4 at 12:01 a.m., Insaaf, starring Shariful Razz and Tasnia Farin, will be released on Chorki. Directed by Sanjoy Somadder, the film features Shariful Razz as Yusuf, a most-wanted terrorist who terrifies everyone. Police officer Jahan Khan, played by Tasnia Farin, begins working on his case.
The film also stars Misha Sawdagor, Fazlur Rahman Babu, among others. Based on a story by Nazim Ud Doula and Sanjoy Somadder, the screenplay and dialogues were written by Nazim Ud Doula, Swaroop Dey, and Sanjoy Somadder. Produced under the banners of Titas Kathachitra and TOT Films, the movie was produced by Abul Kalam.
The director has kept many surprises in Insaaf. Mosharraf Karim appears in a different look, playing the role of a doctor. Through his character, the film highlights the issue of syndication in medical services. Chanchal Chowdhury also makes a guest appearance, which has pleasantly surprised audiences.
Additionally, the classic song Akash-e-te Lokkho Tara has been reintroduced in the film. Singer-actress Zeffar also appears in Insaaf, performing in the song Dhamaka. Written by Priyo Chattopadhyay and composed by Naved Parvez, the track is also sung by Zeffar.
