Rangpur marks Disability Day

On the eve of 34rd International Person with Disability Day and 267th National Person with Disability Day, on 3rd December, 2025, (Wednesday) Community Eye Care & Research Center, Modern Mor, Rangpur has disbursed wheel chairs and crutches as helping equipment among persons with disabilities funded by Sightsavers under Districts Inclusive Eye Care Programme.

After ending a decorative rally on the occasion of International Person with Disability Day, ADC (Revenue) Rangpur Abu Syed has disbursed wheel chairs and crutches as helping equipment among persons with disabilities. Deputy-Director of District Welfare Department, Mr. Anil Chandro Barmon was also present at the event. Civil Surgeon, Rangpur Dr. Sahin Sultana, Additional District Police Super Sushanto Chandro Roy were present.

Sightsavers District Coordinator Masud Rana, Asst. Executive Director of Community Eye Care & Research Center Tushar Kanti Das, Senior manager of Community Eye Care & Research Center, Zafor Ahmed and Inclusion Officer of Community Eye Care & Research Center, Sheik Abdul Karim were also present, among others.
