TNN, New Delhi :Targeting Narendra Modi on the legacy of Sardar Patel, Rahul Gandhi said on Friday that Gujarat leaders do not read history.”Sardar Patel said that RSS is a poisonous entity. It was the ideology of RSS that killed Mahatma Gandhi. Sardar Patel wanted to ban RSS,” Rahul Gandhi said.It seems Gujarat leaders never read history books or Sardar Patel’s ideology, Rahul Gandhi said.The Congress vice-president was addressing a rally in Bardoli, Gujarat.Rahul Gandhi also said that BJP was not sincere in its fight against corruption. It was the Congress party which got the Lokpal Bill passed in Parliament, he added.On the other hand, Narendra Modi did not let Lokayukta come to Gujarat for nine years, Rahul Gandhi said.”If BJP is really against corruption, why does it not help Congress pass the 6 anti-corruption bills in Parliament?” Rahul Gandhi asked.
