The entire panel led by Rahela Zakir has been elected unopposed in the election of Tangail Central Co-operative Bank Limited. Rahela Zakir was declared the new president of the bank as no other candidates contested for the posts.
Election officials confirmed that all positions were filled without competition after the withdrawal deadline ended. The unopposed victory reflects the confidence of the cooperative members in Rahela Zakir’s leadership, sources said.
