After the fall of the government in the anti-discrimination student movement on August 5, 2024, miscreants looted a large amount of government arms and ammunition after damaging various government buildings including the police station. In this incident RAB-14, Battalion Headquarters Mymensingh started a combing operation to arrest the miscreants and recover the looted weapons. In continuation of this, RAB-14, a smart raiding party of Sadar Company conducted a raid at Deokhola Bazar under Phulbaria police station of Mymensingh on Thursday and recovered a foreign pistol with two rounds of bullets and a foreign pistol.
In a separate operation in Kumargata area of Muktagacha Police Station recovered 1 domestically made ramda, 1 sword, 1 double-edged Chinese axe, 1 chapati, 1 domestic Chinese ax and 2 daggers.
The recovered evidence was handed over to Phulbaria and Muktagacha police stations in Mymensingh district.RAB-14 said through a press release that their operations will continue to arrest criminals and recover illegal weapons.
