On the occasion of Durga Puja, RAB-11 Commanding Officer Lt. Col.
H M Sajjad Hossain on Thursday (September 25) visited several puja
mandaps in Narayanganj to review security measures.
Speaking with mandap committees and devotees, he assured that RAB
has taken comprehensive steps to ensure the safety of worshippers and
visitors. “We are on the highest alert to make sure everyone can
celebrate Durga Puja peacefully. Patrolling and surveillance have been
strengthened around mandaps and nearby areas to guarantee safe travel
and festivities,” he said.
He further emphasized that RAB personnel remain prepared to respond
to any sabotage, unrest, or untoward incidents during the puja
celebrations.
Prabir Kumar Saha, president of the Amolapara Puja Celebration
Committee, welcomed RAB’s initiative, noting that their active presence
would make this year’s festivities safer and more joyful.
