The Assam state government ordered a fresh autopsy into the death of popular Indian singer Zubin Garg.
The autopsy was conducted at the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital on Tuesday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said.
The first autopsy report stated that Zubin died of drowning while scuba diving in Singapore. However, as several aspects of the incident were unclear, a new autopsy was decided.
The Chief Minister said that the decision was taken after new demands were raised on social media and with the permission of the family.
