Quality education crucial for country’s progress

Emphasizing the pivotal role of quality education in shaping skilled human resources, LGRD Minister Tajul Islam asserted that investing in education of world-class standards is fundamental to any country’s development philosophy.

The minister made these remarks while serving as the chief guest at the inauguration of a two-day Education Fair organized by Knowledge Hub Bangladesh at the Sheraton Hotel in Dhaka.

Minister Tajul Islam underscored the importance for students to utilize their education and skills for the betterment of society and the nation, whether they pursue studies domestically or abroad.

He pointed to Malaysia as an exemplary model of rapid economic progress and excellence in advanced education.

The Education Fair, a collaborative effort between Knowledge Hub Bangladesh and Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), aims to provide Bangladeshi students with opportunities to explore higher education prospects in Malaysia.

During the opening ceremony, Moin Uddin Khan, representing EMGS, delivered the welcome speech, while Arif Syed, Founder and CEO of Knowledge Hub Bangladesh, presided over and moderated the event.

Arif Syed expressed that Knowledge Hub Bangladesh is dedicated to organizing fairs targeting Bangladeshi students seeking opportunities for higher education in renowned Malaysian universities, enabling them to elevate their educational pursuits to new heights.

The ‘Study in Malaysia Education Fair’ is part of a series of educational events organized by Knowledge Hub Bangladesh and EMGS, with two more fairs scheduled to take place in Chattogram and Sylhet.

The fair in Chattogram is set to be held at the Peninsula Hotel on April 29th, Monday, followed by the final event at Rose View Hotel in Sylhet on May 1st, Wednesday.

Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), operating under the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, serves as a catalyst for promoting Malaysia as a premier international education destination. EMGS operates a One-Stop Centre for international student services, facilitating higher education pursuits at Malaysia’s public and private institutions.

The ‘Study in Malaysia’ fair provides a platform for aspiring Bangladeshi students to explore academic opportunities and enhance their educational journey towards a brighter future.
