When questioned about the continuation of the movement, Prof. Bhuiyan affirmed, “Our movement will continue until the demands are met.”

In the meantime, 35 public universities, including Dhaka University, observed a strike for the third consecutive day.
DU teachers, led by DUTA, organised a sit-in programme at the main gate of the university’s arts building, where they voiced their concerns on Tuesday.

Throughout the morning, no classes or examinations were held at the university. Additionally, staff members refrained from attending their workplaces as part of the protest against the Prottoy scheme.
