Staff Reporter: Qatar Charity, an International Charity Organization, has built four more new orphanages in three districts of Bangladesh to ensure a better future for orphans and vulnerable children.
These four picturesque and modern orphanages have been constructed at Gangachara in Rangpur district, Kumarkhali in Kushtia district and South Surma in Sylhet city.
The organization said in a statement that each 9,000 sq ft orphanage has two floors. There are spacious and well-equipped accommodation, classrooms, computer lab, dining hall, kitchen, washrooms and prayer rooms.
Each of the orphanages has accommodation and study facilities for 200 orphan students.
Recently these four new orphanages have been inaugurated where local government representatives were present. Sohel Alam, project director of Qatar Charity Bangladesh office, said the total cost of constructing the four buildings was 17,10,089 Qatari Riyals.
