PWD Sports Club move in the BPL Football

PWD Sports Club moved in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football as they confirmed their position at least runners-up in the Bangladesh Championship League (BSL) Football. BSL is the second tier of Bangladesh’s football competition. The champions and the runners-up of the BSL will qualify for the BPL.

It may be mentioned that Dhaka Wanderers Club and Youngmens Club Fakirerpool reached the BPL last year. But they failed to perform a better brand of football in this year’s BPL Football.
PWD Sports Club confirmed their BPL berth after defeating Little Friends Society 3-0 on Tuesday.
PWD Sports Club grabbed 37 points from 15 matches, while Arambagh Krira Sangha collected 33 points from as many matches and City Club bagged 27 points from as many outings.

The three teams have more three matches. So, if PWD Sports Club fail to earn any point in their next matches, PWD will play in the next year’s BPL Football, the most prestigious local football competition of the country.
