Whatever you say about push-in or pushback, it is happening constantly. Maybe it is stopped for a day or two sometimes.
But the final process has not been completely stopped. In some cases, BSF is also pushing Indian citizens and Rohingyas. Which is a violation of human rights. We strongly protest to BSF.

BGB Director General (DG) Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui made these remarks in response to questions from journalists after the training graduation parade of the 103rd recruit batch of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in Satkania of Chattogram  on Thursday.

He said, “We are constantly protesting strongly to the BSF. We asked them to handover as per the rules. Not only are Bangladeshis being pushed back, in some cases Indian citizens are being sent back, some are also sending back Rohingya citizens.”

To another question of a journalists, Major General Ashrafuzzaman further said, there is a shortage of manpower. This is a relative issue. Our manpower is about 57,000 in total. We have a 4,427-kilometer long border. There are also various types of hostile terrain. Compared to that, the manpower needs to be increased further. Our recruitment process is going on, DG added.

Earlier, BGB Director General (DG) Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui said that the young soldiers will sacrifice their lives if necessary to protect the integrity of the motherland, but will not allow even an inch of the country’s soil to be lost.
