A five-day Orientation Programme has been arranged for 136 newly recruited Junior Officers at Pubali Bank PLC, organised by the Human Resources Division. The course is designed to familiarise participants with the concepts, principles, rules, regulations, laws, and practices of banking.
The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Managing Director & CEO Mohammad Ali. Deputy Managing Directors Mohammad Esha, Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Ahmed Enayet Manzur, Md Shahnewaz Khan, Mohammad Anisuzzaman, and Mohammed Jamal Uddin Mazumder were present as Special Guests. Ismat Ara Huq, General Manager and Head of the Human Resources Division, delivered the welcome speech.
In his inaugural speech, the Chief Guest, Mohammad Ali, urged everyone to work sincerely and honestly. He advised them to equip themselves with a diverse range of banking knowledge to cope with the competitive global market. He also noted that success in banking can be achieved by exploring one’s skills and talents to the fullest through proper application. He further advised all officers to abide by the rules and regulations of Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory bodies, emphasising that Pubali Bank is highly compliant.
The Managing Director encouraged the newly recruited officers to serve customers with determination, integrity, and professionalism. He also stressed the importance of embracing modern technology to provide better service.
General Managers from Head Office and Senior Executives of Pubali Bank were also present at the ceremony.
