A day-long Smart Education Fair was held at Bhangura in Pabna to ensure the use of technology in primary education.
The fair was organized at the upazila’s freedom fighter M. Hossain Ali Auditorium on Saturday.
Alhaj Md. Mokbul Hossain, President of the Standing Committee on Land Ministry and Member of Parliament of Pabna-3, attended the fair as the chief guest.
Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Nahid Hasan Khan presided over the function, Among others Upazila Chairman Md. Baki Billah, Mayor of Bhangura Municipality Golam Hasnain Rasel, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Tasmia Akhter Rozi, OC Md. Rashidul Islam and Upazila Education Officer Md. Abul Kalam Azad spoke on the occasion.
Recently UNO Mohammad Nahid Hasan Khan distributed free devices to some primary school classes here to encourage the use of technology.
He also takes care of whether these are being applied properly.
As a result, there is a lot of interest among teachers and students.
These materials and related content are showcased in this fair of Science and Mathematics Olympiad.
The objective is, later on, that all primary school students can be motivated in smart education.
Ten schools including Bhangura Model and Saratnagar Government Primary School of the upazila set up stalls and displayed materials and content.
