Protest rally held in Gazipur against death threat to NU VC

A protest rally was held in front of the National University (NU) Academic Building at Board Bazar in Gazipur on Tuesday, against the death threats to National University Vice Chancellor (VC) Dr. ASM Amanullah.
The programme was presided over by National University Officers Association President and Controller of Examinations (Acting) Md. Enamul Karim, and the Deputy Vice Chancellor of National University Professor Dr. Nurul Islam, Dean (Acting) of Postgraduate Education, Training and Research Centre Professor Dr. Fakir Rafiqul Alam, Dean (Acting) of Curriculum Development and Evaluation Centre Professor Dr. Md. Abuddarda, Vice President of the Professional Council and Director of the Regional Center Coordination Office (acting) Mohammad Belal Hossain, Additional College Inspector Md.
Sanaullah Miah, Deputy Examination Controller Md. Zakir Hossain, Associate Professor Syed Afzal Hossain. Among the leaders of the Job Protection Committee, Nazimuddin Ahmed Sishim, Mia Hossain Rana, Khandaker Abu Hanif, President Iqbal Hossain on behalf of the employees and Afiul Hasan, Shahriar Rahman and Ariful from the on-campus students also spoke.
The speakers at the protest meeting protested against the threat to kill the Vice-Chancellor and demanded that the perpetrator be brought to justice immediately.
