BNP-affiliated lawyers and students on Wednesday held agitation procession and protest rally in Barishal against the murder of lawyer Saiful Islam (Alif) in Chattogram and saught ban on International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).
They held this protest program at the Barishal court premises on Wednesday afternoon. Later, they also held a short protest rally.
At that time, they said that lawyer Saiful Islam was killed in the court premises in an ISKCON attack.
This murder reminded them that ISKCON is a militant organization operated from outside the country. And Sheikh Hasina is behind this attack. They demanded that ISKCON should be banned.
Earlier at 12 noon, students of Brajo Mohun College held a protest rally demanding justice for the murder of lawyer Saiful Islam and the ban on ISKCON.
They later coming out from campus area assembled in front of Barishal Ashwini Kumar Hall in the city center protested the killing of lawyer and banning against ISKCON .
Students also held several protest marches against ISKCON on the Sher-e-Bangla Medical College campus in Barishal on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
