Bengali actor Prosenjit Chatterjee has spent 40 years in the Tollywood industry. During this long journey, he has taken himself to new heights through acting. Beyond Tollywood, he has also left his mark in Bollywood. At this stage of his career, Prosenjit says he asks himself just one question when standing in front of the mirror.
Prosenjit said, “For the past 40-42 years, the words I have spoken to myself in front of the mirror have gradually changed with time. Today, the question I ask myself is-what characters have I still not portrayed? One day I asked actor Jeet, ‘Tell me, what should I do more?’ After thinking for a while, he said, ‘You’ve touched everything already.’ What keeps me thinking is how to break myself further, what roles I should take up. The same answer keeps coming back to me over and over again. I feel like I have managed to scoop only a drop of water from the ocean. There is still so much left to do. That’s what keeps me alive.”
This Puja, the film Debi Chowdhurani, starring Prosenjit and Srabanti, is set to be released. Prosenjit will play the role of Bhavani Pathak in the movie. Audience anticipation for the film is already at its peak. He mentioned that he also prepared differently for this film.
